Tuxedomoon

Half Mute 2000 Tour

Steven Brown, Blaine Reininger and Peter Principle have left their respective abodes in Mexico City, Athens & New York, and are getting ready for this show which will see them revisit their seminal early music which has inspired countless bands & producers of electronic music throughout the 80's and 90's... Most of the music will be taken from their classic 1980 album "Half Mute" (originally released on The Residents' San Francisco-based Ralph label, and re-released by Crammed in 1985).

Half-Mute

On the German leg of this tour they will be joined by long-time fan DJ Hell, whose own Gigolo label will be putting out revisited versions of Tuxedomoon's late 70's cult tracks "No Tears" and "What Use ?", remixed by underground techno luminaries such as Ectomorph, Porter Ricks, Dopplereffect & more.
